For Tatiana is important that people’s own uniqueness, personal impact and connection with each other don’t go unnoticed.
Using diverse materials and media Tatiana creates collages, installations and fine art series to assemble imaginary spaces to deepen an understanding of human feelings and perception.
In her project from 2018 “So Close So Far” she talks about life in the big cities and a photographic moment.
When looking at the scenery in life people tend to pick the most interesting objects and see how they evolve.
Some moments remain unnoticed, because we can’t have it all. When somebody sees still picture though, a person has time to observe.
A picture as if awaits for you to get all the information from it. We can analyze what is going on there like on Bosch paintings.
The story on a photo is evolving while we watch and recognize things and people. We build our subjective perception and rely on that image as if a camera can’t lie.
A lot of times though what you get is not what you’ve seen.
A great influence on Tatiana’s work were and are such an artists as Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, Thomas Struth, Nina Katchadourian, Mat Collishaw, Peter Fischli and David Weiss, and so on.
